Arco Villas Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
This policy explains how Arco Villas ("we", "us", "the developer") collects and uses personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or take steps to buy a villa at Arco Villas in Cemagi, Bali, Indonesia.
Arco Villas is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about privacy on WhatsApp at +62 819 1145 8634.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- When you message us on WhatsApp: your name, phone number, profile details and anything you write or send us.
- When you book a call through Calendly: your name, email address, the time you book, and your answers to our booking questions. These questions cover why you are interested in buying and whether you plan to pay in cash, with a mortgage, or are undecided. We do not ask for amounts or bank details at this stage.
- If you go ahead with a purchase: identity and contact details (such as passport details, nationality, address and tax number), payment details, and any other information the notary, our legal advisers or the law require to complete the sale and lease.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, the link or ad that brought you to us, and approximate location.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see section 4.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
2. Why we use it
These bases follow Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022, "PDP Law") and, for visitors in the UK and European Union, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising and measurement through the Meta Pixel and conversion tracking.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics.
- Calendly, which runs our call booking.
- WhatsApp (owned by Meta), which carries our messages with you.
- Framer, which hosts our website.
- The notary (PPAT/Notaris), our legal and tax advisers and our bank, once a purchase goes ahead.
- The villa operator or rental manager, if you join a rental or management programme.
- Government authorities or courts, where the law requires it.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and handles data under its own terms.
4. Cookies, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel
Our website uses cookies and similar tools:
- Essential cookies make the site work.
- Google Analytics shows us how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed and for how long. Google's use of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- The Meta Pixel and conversion tracking tell us whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits or enquiries, and let us show ads to people who have visited our site. Meta may combine this with other information it holds about you, as described in Meta's Privacy Policy. You can manage how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop the site from working.
5. International transfers
We are based in Indonesia. Our service providers, including Meta, Google, Calendly and Framer, may store and process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries. When we transfer data outside Indonesia, or outside the UK or EU for visitors there, we rely on the safeguards the law requires. These include the provider's standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections, or your consent.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Purchase and contract records: for as long as the lease runs, and for any longer period required by Indonesian tax, notary or other law.
- Website and advertising data: according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Meta, and no longer than 26 months.
7. Your rights
Under the PDP Law, and the GDPR if it applies to you, you may:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
- ask us to correct or update it
- ask us to delete it, or to stop or restrict using it
- withdraw your consent at any time, including for marketing
- object to our use of it based on legitimate interests, including for analytics and advertising
- ask for your data in a portable format
- object to decisions made solely by automated processing (we do not make any)
- complain to a data protection authority: in Indonesia, the authority responsible under the PDP Law; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU, your local supervisory authority.
To make a request, send us a WhatsApp message at +62 819 1145 8634 starting with "Privacy request". We may need to confirm your identity before we act. We will respond within the time the law requires. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, for example contract and tax records.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including limiting access to people who need it. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
